Furry Friends, Humane Society of SW WA, and Odd Mann Inn: $2040 Donated

Updated: Jan 6

On behalf of Joseph and Angie Nelander, we are thrilled to make donations totaling $2040 to some great local causes supporting animals in our community! Thank you, Nelanders, for trusting Tesha with your home sale and providing us with the opportunity to share this donation across multiple nonprofits.

Furry Friends, a no-kill cat rescue and adoption organization, received $680!

"We strive to help cats in the Vancouver-Portland Metropolitan and surrounding area receive the medical services and companionship they need. We are operated entirely by volunteers. Our Mission is to rescue abused, abandoned or otherwise homeless cats and house them in a safe, healthy and socialized environment until we find new “forever homes” for them."

$680 has also been donated to the Humane Society for SW Washington.

"Since 1897, we've been caring for the animals of Southwest Washington and surrounding areas...Through the work of our committed staff and volunteers, HSSW offers a variety of programs including pet adoptions, community education, pet behavior advice, spay/neuter assistance, low-cost programs for qualifying families and much more."

$680 has been given to the Odd Man Inn Animal Refuge

"We help animals that have suffered abuse and neglect, outlived their “usefulness”, or have simply outgrown their home. We rescue, rehabilitate, and find adoptive families who will allow them to live a natural life of peace and safety. Finding homes for barnyard animals where they are not at risk for being consumed has become the heart of our organization."
