3 Great Southwest WA Events to Check Out June 4 through 7
If you are looking for a few fun ways to get out and enjoy Southwest Washington from June 4 through June 7, there is plenty happening around the region. Whether you want something family friendly, community focused, or outdoorsy, this weekend offers a little bit of everything.
One standout event is the Clark County Fire District 6 Open House in Vancouver on Saturday, June 6, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This free event at Station 63 in Salmon Creek gives families a chance to tour the fire station, meet local firefighters, watch live demonstrations, and enjoy kid-friendly activities like the Jr. Firefighter Challenge. There will also be free hot dogs and snow cones, which makes it an easy and fun stop for the whole family. (visitvancouverwa.com)
Also on Saturday, June 6, the Big Paddle Waterfront Festival returns to Ridgefield. This annual event celebrates the Lewis River to Vancouver Lake Water Trail and invites the community to get outside and enjoy the area’s natural beauty. Guided paddles, hikes, and other outdoor activities make this a great pick for anyone who wants to experience one of Southwest Washington’s most scenic waterfront settings. (ridgefieldwa.us)
If you are in the mood for something creative and lively, check out the Camtown Arts & Music Festival in Camas on Saturday, June 6 at Crown Park. This free community festival brings together artists, makers, musicians, and local vendors for a day full of color, live performances, and handmade goods. It is a fun way to explore another corner of Southwest Washington while supporting local creativity. (visitvancouverwa.com)
And while you are planning your weekend, be sure to keep an eye on the local real estate market too. We will be hosting open houses throughout the area, offering a great chance to explore neighborhoods, tour available homes, and get a feel for what is new on the market.
From community events to house hunting, the first weekend of June is shaping up to be a great time to get out and explore Southwest Washington.
