Things to Do in Southwest Washington This Weekend | Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2026
Looking for something to do around Southwest Washington this Halloween weekend? October is wrapping up with plenty of ways to get outside, enjoy some local fall traditions, learn something new, or lean all the way into spooky season.
Here are a few things happening around Clark County and Southwest Washington from October 30 through November 1.
🎃 Make a Fall Day of It at Pumpkin Lane
If you haven't made it to Pumpkin Lane at Pomeroy Living History Farm yet, Halloween weekend is your last chance.
Located in Yacolt, Pumpkin Lane features a mile-long hayride through dozens of handcrafted pumpkin scenes, along with farm animals, historic buildings, a pumpkin patch, food and coffee vendors, and plenty of fall photo opportunities.
Pumpkin Lane is open Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission at 4 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for kids ages 3-11.

👻 Take a Haunted History Walking Tour
Halloween seems like a pretty good excuse to learn a little more about the stranger side of Vancouver's history.
The Clark County Historical Museum's Haunted History Walking Tours take place Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. through Halloween. The one-hour walking tour explores haunted stories and unusual history around downtown Vancouver.
Tours are $20 and begin at the Clark County Historical Museum.

🧪 Get Spooked at The Haunted Laboratory
For something a little more jump-scare focused, The Haunted Laboratory returns to Vancouver for its final Halloween weekend.
This DIY haunted house at 1201 NW 78th St. is open Friday and Saturday, October 30 and 31, from 7 to 10 p.m. The organizers recommend it for ages 8 and up and warn that there will be fake blood and plenty of jump scares.
It's a fun local option if you're looking for a Halloween activity without heading far from home.
💃 Put on a Costume for the Family Spooktacular Dance
Looking for something a little more festive than frightening? Firstenburg Community Center is hosting its Family Spooktacular Dance on Friday, October 30.
The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and includes music from DJ Mikey, dancing, snacks, drinks, and Halloween activities. Costumes are encouraged, and the event is open to all ages.
Registration is required. Admission is $12 for Vancouver residents and $15 for non-residents.

🐝 Learn Something New at the Mason Bee Cocoon Cleaning Workshop
If Halloween isn't really your thing, there's another way to spend Saturday.
The Vancouver Bee Project is hosting its annual Mason Bee Cocoon Cleaning Workshop on October 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Water Resources Education Center.
You'll learn about mason bee biology and fall stewardship, then get hands-on with cleaning cocoons to help reduce parasites, predators, and disease before next spring. Registration is required.

🥕 Make One Last October Stop at the Vancouver Farmers Market
Saturday, October 31 is also the final weekend for the Vancouver Farmers Market's regular April-October schedule.
Head downtown to 8th and Esther Streets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for local produce, flowers, baked goods, prepared food, crafts and other locally made goods. It's an easy stop to pair with a walk through Esther Short Park or a trip downtown.

🎷 Have an Adult Night Out in Ridgefield
For a very different kind of Halloween weekend, the Old Liberty Theater in downtown Ridgefield is hosting Hot Rhythms: A Sinful Cabaret Burlesque Revue on Friday, October 30.
The one-night-only performance combines 1920s hot jazz, live music from the Ne Plus Ultra Jass Orchestra, and burlesque performers. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $30, and the event is strictly 21+.
🎬 For Serious Horror Fans: Cinema of Horrors
If you're looking for something considerably scarier, Cinema of Horrors has its final Halloween weekend at the Clark County Event Center in Ridgefield.
The Cinema of Horrors Drive-In runs through October 31, while the walk-through Cinema of Horrors Haunted House in Kelso continues through November 1. The Kelso attraction features four haunted mazes and is recommended for ages 13 and up.
This one is definitely for the people who think a regular haunted house isn't quite scary enough.
🍂 Or Keep It Simple
Not every weekend needs a packed schedule. With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, you could also keep things simple with a fall walk, a coffee stop downtown, a drive through the countryside, or one last visit to a local pumpkin patch.
There are plenty of ways to enjoy the last weekend of October without turning it into a whole production.
Have a favorite local event or fall activity we missed? Send it our way. We love finding new ways to enjoy Southwest Washington.
